It's time to do some general site maintenance. Look for updated content throughout the site. Specifically, we are working to update our Members listings with the 2009/10 membership information. This requires some coordination, so if you don't yet see your name or organization, please be patient. We're working on it. Please support the Bonita Optimists and all that they do for children. They are presenting their 7th Annual Fall Craft Show and Used Book Sale this Saturday, October 17 from 9-3 p.m. It is being held at Rohr Park Manor located in Rohr Park (4548 Sweetwater Road) in Bonita. Youth clubs will be selling hot dogs and kettle corn. Look for the free shuttle in the parking lot.

The site build-out is finally complete. We are still waiting on photos from the community and HOA contact information, but basically we have achieved our stated project goal of building a great website for everyone in the Sweetwater Valley to use in support of all the groups in the community.

Time to work some more on the Helpful Resources section! Check out all of the new content here, with more coming this week. For people closely following the H1N1 Flu (a.k.a. Swine Flu), you will be pleased to see a widget from the U.S. government agencies on our Health page.

We just printed up leaflets announcing our Web site to the community. We created a two-sided flyer in partnership with the Bonita Business & Professional Association (BBPA) so that we can work together to get the word out about our great community-building Web sites. Maybe you saw our flyers already? They were available at last month's incredibly successful Chili Cook-off. If not, hang on. We'll start getting them on display throughout Bonita. Until then, please spread the word. Thank you for your support.
