Dear Guests and Members of the Sweetwater Valley Civic Association,
It’s membership time again! Members have the chance to vote for new leadership. The SVCA encourages members to bring their applications, pay their fees in person, and cast their votes (you can also become a member online). This meeting will be held on June 5th at 7:00 P.M. in the Library Community Room at 4375 Bonita Road.
My name is Liz Stonehouse, and I’m the new Membership Chairman here to tell you that there will be a new slate of officers for the Sweetwater Valley Civic Association.
We will also have Chula Vista Mayor John McCann joining us to share his plans for Sweetwater. Another speaker at this meeting will be the new Deputy Sheriff of our area, Lt. Christopher Galve, whose office is located in Imperial Beach. The new officers and directors are invested in you, the community. We want to hear from you about any local issues you would like addressed. One of the biggest challenges on our plate this year is working with the County to establish a short-term rental permitting process. Another priority is the identification and removal of worn-out street signs.
