February 7, 2024 Meeting Notice

February 7, 2024 Meeting Notice

Join Us on February 7th for the Upcoming Sweetwater Valley Civic Association  Meeting.

Dear Guests and members of the Sweetwater Valley Civic Association:

I’m sharing this letter from Nora Vargas about large animal evacuation areas, and a link to forms to complete and submit for stormwater damage to your property.

I found it disheartening that the South County Animal Shelter was not listed as an emergency large animal evacuation site.  Since our last meeting broke up before Karen Henry could give her report about Sweetwater Authority, I’ve moved her up to the top of community forum.  I’m communicating with Lt Gathings from SD County Sheriff’s Office to find us a replacement for Julio Garcia in order for us to stay on top of criminal activity in our community.  Thanks to Sharmane Estolano, VP, who will preside over the February meeting.

February 7th Agenda Snapshot:

  • Treasurer’s report for February 2024.
  • Fire Safety: Fire Chief Mike Sims
