Interstate 805 South Corridor Construction Alert
KeepSanDiegoMoving.com has shared that there will be Overnight Lane and Ramp Closures Planned for Northbound and Southbound I-805 and SR 54 Connectors, July 22 through 25.
July 22-23:
Outside southbound I-805 lane between Sweetwater Road and Bonita Road and the Sweetwater Road on-ramp to southbound I-805 will be closed from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
July 24:
Outside northbound I-805 lane between Sweetwater Road and Bonita Road will be closed from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
I-805 northbound connectors to SR 54 east and west will be closed from 11 p.m. – 5 a.m.
July 25:
The outside southbound I-805 lane between Sweetwater Road and Bonita Road and the Sweetwater Road on-ramp to southbound I-805 will be closed from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Detours will be in place during the nightly closures. Motorists should take northbound I-805, exit west on Plaza Boulevard, and continue to southbound I-805 to access SR 54.
Nearby residents can expect noise and lights from these construction activities, which include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required vehicle back-up alarms. Crews will work to minimize noise and other impacts to nearby residents.
